Tumble Creek Residence

Roslyn, WA

This single family vacation home is located in the Tumble Creek neighborhood of Suncadia overlooking a private golf course. The home’s great room features “upset” trusses, composed of spaced 4×10 wood top chords and a steel rod bottom chord, supporting a tongue-in-groove structural roof and ceiling, which is designed to support a 140 psf snow load. The exposed structural elements are featured both inside and outside the structure, where the shed roof cantilevers out to the view. The property includes the main house, a guest cottage and a freestanding garage, knitted together by professionally designed landscaping elements.
